The awards are presented at the club's annual summer ball.

The Harold Parkinson Memorial Trophy – Paul Hartley
Named after the Club's first benefactor, Sir Harold Parkinson and presented to the Club by Mrs. Evelyn Hall in 1989, the Parkinson Trophy shall be awarded to the member of the Club who is considered to have contributed most to promote the interests and good standing of the Club.

The Presidents Cup – Laura Clark
Presented by the Club President, Dr. Martin Edmonds in 1990. The Presidents Cup shall be awarded to the Club member who is considered by the LUBC Captain, in consultation with the Men's and Women's Vice-Captains and coaches, to have made the most progress as an oarsman/woman during the year.

The Francis Russell Memorial Trophy – Female Squad
Named after Francis Russell, a former Club Captain who died in a boating accident on the River Lune in October 1987, and donated in his memory by his mother, Mrs. Janet Russell, in 1991. The Russell Trophy is awarded to the crew that demonstrated the greatest commitment to teamwork and competitiveness.

The Coxswains Boater – Catherine Edwards
This is awarded to the coxswain who is not necessarily the coxswain who has the most experience on the river, but the one who has shown massive improvement, determination, drive and spirit.

The Crab Award - Matt Jones
An oar blade on which is painted a representational crustacean in acrylic by the artist Liz Lark, presented by the Hon. President in 1992, and given annually to the person in the Club deemed, after consultation among the Captain and Vice Captains to have caught the biggest 'crab' in competition during the year.

Animal Award - Karin Forman and Sarah Forshaw
This is awarded by the Social Secretaries, to the person who made the biggest idiot of themselves, whilst under the influence!
