LUBC’s Women’s 1st VIII made the trip down to London to race on the Thames in the Women’s Head of the River Race over the weekend. Unfortunately the crew was unable to row their LUBC boat they had trained in due to various unpredictable events. However this did not hamper the women, as they managed an impressive overall position of 128th from 268 crews. Within their S4 division this correlated to 16th out of 55 crews. Encouraging signs from a crew with many members new to the sport. For full race details please click here
